NVCRA
Professional Development and Networking for Cancer Registrars.
The Nevada Cancer Registrars Association (NVCRA) brings together cancer registrars, students, and other health data professionals working in the state of Nevada for professional networking, collaboration, and educational development opportunities. NVCRA holds quarterly meetings and provides continuing education sessions for members. Cancer registrars are data information specialists that capture and record a complete history, diagnosis, treatment, and health status for every cancer patient in the United States. These records are entered into cancer registries and provide essential information allowing us to better monitor cancer, advance cancer treatments, conduct research, and improve cancer prevention and screening programs. In Nevada, all reportable cancer cases are provided to the Nevada Central Cancer Registry.
