National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration of life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world on the first Sunday of June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community.

Cancer Community Clubhouse hosts Reno's 2023 celebration as a free event featuring:

1-2 p.m. - Speaker Series
2-5 p.m. - Celebration

The event includes bingo, a raffle, crafts, silent auction, memory tree and more. 

Speakers include:

Keynote Speaker: Haley Smoot - Advocacy in Survivorship, Director of Public Policy at the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship

Hope Throughout Survivorship - Natalie Stevenson, Executive Director of Cancer Community Clubhouse and metastatic breast cancer survivor

Supporting Mental Health in Survivorship - Dr. Katherine Souza, PhD, LMFT, Owner and Director of Souza Counseling Services
