Lights of Hope Reno

Lights of Hope is the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network's (ACS-CAN) signature fundraising event. This event is dedicated to honoring those touched by cancer and those lost to the disease. For a donation, people can decorate a luminaria bag to honor or remember someone diagnosed with cancer or share their words of support and encouragement in fighting the disease.  

Every year, the funds raised during Lights of Hope allow ACS CAN to continue advocating for cancer as a priority to lawmakers in our local community, statewide, and on a federal level. Lights of Hope is a nationwide event where volunteers fundraise and decorate bags to display in their communities for their loved ones. Every year, close to 65,000 bags are displayed nationwide, including at our nation's capital, in August and September.
