Early Detection: Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in Nevada and the U.S., but it is highly preventable and treatable when caught early. The Nevada Cancer Coalition supports initiatives that increase awareness, promote regular screenings, and help Nevadans take proactive steps to protect their health. Join us in this work.
Cancer Plan Goal: Increase early detection of cancers to reduce late-stage diagnosis.
Colorectal Cancer Collaborative
The Nevada Cancer Coalition’s Colorectal Cancer Collaborative unites healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocates to reduce the impact of colorectal cancer across the state. Through shared strategies, data-driven approaches, and public awareness initiatives, the collaborative focuses on increasing screening rates, promoting early detection, and addressing disparities in care. By working together, the collaborative empowers Nevadans to take proactive steps for their health and supports communities in the fight against colorectal cancer.

Colorectal Cancer Campaign
Through statewide media outreach and an informative online hub, the colorectal cancer screening campaign highlights how simple, effective, and life-saving colorectal cancer screening can be. With messages sharing personal stories, tailored to increase awareness and encourage action, the campaign connects people to screening options, resources, and support—empowering every Nevadan to take an active role in preventing colorectal cancer or catching it early, when treatment works best.
