Lung Tour 2026: Carson Valley Health Fair

Step inside a larger-than-life set of inflatable lungs and take a walk through pulmonary health.

NCC is taking its interactive Giant Inflatable Lungs on a lung cancer awareness tour. This unique, walk-through exhibit helps visitors see and understand the progression of lung cancer — from healthy tissue to infections to advanced disease — and highlights the importance of early detection and regular screening for those who are eligible.

Community members will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about lung cancer prevention and screening options

• Talk about when and how to get screened

• Pick up educational resources

• Snap fun photos inside the giant lungs

Lung cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet it remains the leading cause of cancer deaths. This free, family-friendly event aims to make learning about lung health engaging, approachable and memorable.
