Part of the 2020 Recommendations and Best Practices for Cancer Screenings Series, this session focuses on assessment of patients for lung cancer screening along with national best practices and barriers to accessing screening.

Lung cancer prevention and early detection advocates--and any survivors!--are invited to join us as we work together to achieve objectives and implement strategies outlined in the Nevada Cancer Plan. That includes tobacco use and exposure, radon exposure, and lung cancer screening. The group meets quarterly, usually for 1.5 hours.

Nevada Oncology Society 2021 Fall Conference

NOS brings back its in-person fall conference with an evening program to accommodate clinicians' busy schedules. The program will feature three hours of inspirational education on the latest clinical advances, hands-on strategies for applying new cancer therapies into the treatment care plan, and collaborative opportunities through in-person networking.
