Cervical Health Month 2026 offers an opportunity for Nevada’s healthcare and public health professionals to refocus attention on evidence-based prevention and early detection strategies for cervical cancer. This year’s snapshot provides a concise look at statewide incidence and screening trends, HPV vaccination progress, and persistent disparities that influence outcomes. The quick facts and data visualizations below are designed to support program planning, quality improvement and community outreach efforts aimed at reducing cervical cancer burden across Nevada.
Women's Health Connection
No-cost cervical cancer screening is available in Nevada through Women's Health Connection, part of the national Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program of the CDC.
Nevadans may be eligible for the program if they meet the following criteria:
- Residency: You must live in Nevada.
- Gender: Women’s Health Connection services are available to biological women, transgender men (female to male), and transgender women (male to female) who have received hormone therapy.
- Age: Women who are 21-64 years of age may qualify.
- Income: You must be at or below 250% of the federal poverty rate.
- Insurance status: You must be uninsured or underinsured to qualify.
