Get Creative for a Cause: Register Now for the 2nd Annual Bras for a Cause Event

We're kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October in a bold, fun, and meaningful way—and we want you to be part of it.

Registration is now open for the second annual Bras for a Cause, part of Nevada’s statewide Paint Nevada Pink campaign. This unique and inspiring event invites individuals and businesses to decorate and enter a bra—or tank top or sports bra—for a lighthearted mini fashion show that brings awareness to the importance of breast cancer screening and raises funds to help cover the cost of mammograms for those who can’t afford them.

Join us Tuesday, October 1 at Locomotion Plaza in downtown Reno for the Paint Nevada Pink kickoff celebration and be part of the creativity and community spirit that made last year’s debut event such a success.

🩷 How to Enter:
Anyone can participate! It's $20 per bra to enter as an individual, or $75 per bra for businesses. All proceeds directly support access to lifesaving breast cancer screenings and diagnostics across Nevada. Register here.

🎨 Get Crafty, Get Noticed:
Bring the bling, the feathers, the glitter, or go full-on themed—this is your chance to let your creativity shine while supporting a powerful cause. Some people decorated in memory of a loved one, picked a theme—like baseball—and went wild, and others used their industry as inspiration. Toolbelt bra, anyone? 📅 Deadline to Register:

🚗 Mobile Exhibit:
All submitted bras will be included in a mobile exhibit throughout the month of October at partnering locations throughout northern Nevada.
