The study observed an approximately 80% decline in precancerous lesions among women aged 20 to 24 who underwent cervical cancer screening between 2008 and 2022. This significant decrease is attributed to the widespread administration of the HPV vaccine, recommended for girls since 2006 and boys since 2011.
