The Oncology Patient Navigation Network is a group of individuals from across Nevada that work to navigate and direct individuals with cancer to resources and support. Our network includes nurse navigators, lay navigators, community health workers and others.
Each month we meet to network and discuss barriers identified in the state, share resources and strengthen the cancer support system for Nevadans.
The Survivorship Task Force is a partnership of individuals from across the health care continuum working together on topics related to survivorship for all cancer patients.
This Task Force is working on Quality of Life objectives set forth in the 2021-2025 Nevada Cancer Plan and those identified by partners within the state.

Lung cancer prevention and early detection advocates--and any survivors!--are invited to join us as we work together to achieve objectives and implement strategies outlined in the Nevada Cancer Plan. That includes tobacco use and exposure, radon exposure, and lung cancer screening. The group meets quarterly, usually for 1.5 hours.

The kickoff meeting will be two hours as we hear from Dr. Chivonne Harrigal and the State on current data and projects happening throughout the state.
