ThriveNV Joins Jasper Community
02 February, 2023
ThriveNV is a community of connection and caring. It's our goal to connect people who are affected by cancer and their caregivers to others in the state--peers, supportive resources, or others--who can help them along their path. With that in mind, we're thrilled to have joined with Jasper Health in the launch of their Jasper Community.
On Jan. 31 Jasper Health, a digital guide for people affected by cancer, launched the peer-to-peer member community network to its 17,000 users. It's free to access Jasper and join any of its community groups, including the ThriveNV community group for people in Nevada.
Partners including Imerman Angels, 2Unstoppable, and Worth the Wait also have community groups on the site.
"The impact of community on the lived experience of cancer can't be understated, and the number one request from our members has been the ability to mentor and learn from those with similar experiences," said Adam Pellegrini, Jasper Health's CEO and Co-Founder. "Cancer journeys can differ enormously depending on a wide range of variables, and Jasper Health has a unique opportunity to leverage intelligent technology to help our members on similar paths connect with each other in meaningful ways."
ThriveNV navigator Amy Thompson serves as an ambassador in the ThriveNV community group on the Jasper network, answering questions, providing resources, and connecting with members who know they are not alone when it comes to cancer.
