Podcast: Dental Health for Cancer Patients
02 February, 2024
Our friend Dr. Jessica Pharar of The Pharar Foundation joined the Hello Cancer podcast to talk about the importance of dental health for people who've been diagnosed with cancer. She said her experience as a cancer caregiver helped her to develop greater empathy and connection with patients diagnosed with cancer. Her foundation provides comprehensive dental care to ensure the patient's mouth is healthy prior to starting cancer care. They continue to manage the patient's dental health during and after cancer treatment, and complete any reconstruction that may be needed to restore dental health and improve quality of life.
