When Deborah found a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with cancer her life turned upside-down almost overnight.
“I had a full-time job, was teaching a course for HR professionals, and working on obtaining my master’s degree. It all stopped in a matter of days as I became a patient and tried to learn everything I could about my treatment and what to expect,” she said.

The Geriatric Clinic provides services and care to the elderly population. Some of the services offered at the clinic are EKGs, cholesterol tests, glucose tests, social services, and nutrition counseling for patients 55 and older.
The Dermatology Clinic provides quality care and medical service to patients with any problems related to the skin. Skin treatments include skin biopsies, cryotherapy and surgical excision, and drainage.

We know that exercise is good for the body to prevent a whole host of health conditions. The American Cancer Society notes that it’s also helpful for people with cancer, both during and after treatment, both in improving physical health and emotional wellbeing.
They even suggest trying to get started (or maintaining activity) before treatment to get your body ready for what it’s about to endure.
